If you have 24 hours to spend in Wychavon, there are plenty of things to see and do! Here are some suggestions:
The Croome Court is a beautiful stately home that dates back to the 18th century. You can take a tour of the house to learn about its history, explore the gardens, and see some of the artwork on display. A visit here will likely take a few hours.
If you're interested in history, the Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings is a great place to visit. It's an open-air museum that features a collection of historic buildings from around the UK, including a windmill, a Tudor house, and a Victorian toll house. There are also exhibits about local trades and industries. You could easily spend half a day here.
The Worcester and Birmingham Canal runs through Wychavon, and taking a stroll along it is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Enjoy the scenery and watch the boats glide by. You could do this for an hour or two.
The Evesham Abbey ruins are a fascinating piece of local history. This Benedictine abbey was destroyed during the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the 16th century, but you can still see the remains of the cloisters, chapter house, and more. A visit here will likely take a couple of hours.
